DESCRIPTION
I developed a combat-focused gameplay prototype in Unreal Engine 5 with a strong emphasis on Blueprint scripting. I implemented core player systems, including movement, shooting, swimming, vehicle mechanics, a map system, and interaction mechanics, along with basic enemy AI and combat behaviors. I also integrated UI elements and gameplay feedback to enhance the overall player experience. In addition to gameplay development, I handled the full voice acting for all characters, leveraging AI tools to modify gender and ethnicity for variety. I was also responsible for building the game’s city environment. My role primarily focused on designing, building, and refining the core gameplay loop while ensuring it aligned with the game’s linear, action-driven vision.
Unfinished Business is a linear, story-driven action-adventure game centered on a former special operations agent who is falsely accused of treason and imprisoned. After escaping custody, the protagonist embarks on a relentless mission to uncover the truth and take revenge on the individual responsible for destroying their life. The experience is designed to be focused and combat-driven, emphasizing tight gameplay and a strong narrative without the inclusion of stealth, puzzles, or branching choices. Through its straightforward design and emotionally driven premise, the project aims to deliver a concise yet impactful gameplay experience built around intensity, clarity, and purpose.
